Translated as “the seers of abomination“ in ancient Latin, KRISIUN was formed by brothers Moyses, Max and Alex in 1991 in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil who persistently played clubs throughout Brazil and quickly achieved a reputable status due to their amazingly intense live performances. They recorded two demos that were distributed heavily throughout the metal underground: Evil Age (1991) and Curse Of The Evil One (1992).
Unmerciful Order, their self-financed mini-CD, followed quickly in 1993 after the brothers moved to São Paulo. This album attracted the attention of Germany’s GUN Records who unleashed KRISIUN’s first full-length album, Black Force Domain, in 1995 instantly receiving astonishing reviews.
In 1998 Kerrang crowned their second full-length achievement, Apocalyptic Revelation (produced by Harris Johns), as having “a cutting edge that is almost criminal in its brutality.“
This reissued edition of "Apocalyptic Revelation" includes bonus cover versions of Morbid Angel and Slayer as well as some live bonus tracks.
