On Friday, December 1st, 2023 Resound Presents, the Austin TX-based live music promotion & creative agency will be releasing a special holiday compilation album entitled A Very Homie Holiday. The compilation features 14 local Austin area bands and producers covering classic holiday anthems, writing original pieces, or reinterpretting holiday pop classics for this special release. Artist’s include Ariel from Ariel & The Culture, Texas String Assembly, Being Dead, Dorio, Mélat, TC Superstar, Nolan Potter, Chroma, Alexalone, Shelly Knicks, Bird Peterson, BÖNDBREAKR, Little Mazarn, and Orthy. A limited vinyl run of 500 pressings, on special gold speckled vinyl is available now to pre-order via Resound’s Bandcamp page. Proceeds from both vinyl and digital sales will go to Free Lunch ATX, the local non-profit that works to reduce food insecurity by cooking and serving meals for those experiencing homelessness.
