Pescado Rabioso was an Argentine rock band formed in 1971,
primarily composed of Luis Alberto Spinetta, David Lebón, Black Amaya,
and Carlos Cutaia. It is considered one of the foundational groups
of Argentine rock, having introduced hard rock, blues, and psychedelic
rock to the national music scene.
Three years after their breakup, in 1976, an album titled
"The Best of Pescado Rabioso" was released. It's a compilation of
eleven tracks previously released as singles or on albums,
but its unique feature is the cover art created by Juan Gatti,
which depicts a bleeding fish breaking out of a fishbowl
with shards of glass flying through the air.
