Attempting to re-create the sort of romantic and slinky ballads performed by the likes of Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell back in the Motown days but with more modern ears in mind are Fabiana Palladino and Jai Paul. Both artists have had long layoffs but return with this track taken from Palladino's debut album.
